    Al Serino

    Landscape Painter

    Al Serino is a Brooklyn-based landscape painter. He received his BFA from the Massachusetts College of Art in 1976. Previously, Serino attended the State University of New York.

    For approximately 12 years, Serino had worked as an art director and as an instructor at the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University.

    His peculiar style has received major influences by the Chinese landscape painting, surrealism and North American folk art. Since 1990, Serino dedicates full time to plein-air landscape painting.

    His paintings have been presented in some of the most prestigious galleries in the United States and Canada, including the Danforth Museum, the Peabody Essex Museum and Wellington Management. Furthermore, Serino has had numerous solo exhibitions in the United States and Canada.

    Also, Serino conducts painting workshops and classes at painting out of his studio in Brooklyn.
